Founder: Wayland Brinkley

I created 1004 in 2016 because I wanted to wear something different. Growing up, everybody was kinda wearing the same thing, and I wanted to change that a little, at least for myself. It ended up turning into a thing when I started showing people around me designs, and they liked it, tbh, that influenced me to take it more seriously instead of just something to do for myself. OneThousandFour’s name originated from October 4th, the day I was born, but the ideas are drawings of my imagination, and I say that because I see my surroundings a little differently; I can be in a room and look at anything and have an urge to create. I would say it’s only one thing I want people to know, and that’s to believe in yourself even if no one does, because you are the person who determines your future. Also, if you want to do something, do it because the next person will do it without hesitation if they had the opportunity you had, so don’t take a moment, or an idea, or anything for granted.
